Meta Ads: ad set scheduling throughout the day (dayparting) via API
It would be nice to run ads in fb at set times of the day like only business hours you can do it in ads manager but it would be nice over the api. You can create lifetime budget adsets in fb api but you can’t set a schedule for when the ad runs through out the day. You need to go into ads manager to finish the ad out.
Approve / reject "pending_approval" posts from the web dashboard
We create posts via the API with requiresApproval: true, so that a human approves each one before it gets scheduled (an AI agent prepares the posts, I approve them). The dashboard shows the pending_approval badge on the post card, but there is no way to approve or reject from the UI: today the only option is POST /v1/posts/{postId}/review through the API. Also, opening a pending_approval post in the "Edit Scheduled Post" dialog and saving fails with an error saying only draft/scheduled posts can be edited, so there is currently no UI path at all for these posts. Request: Approve / Reject buttons on the post card and in the edit dialog, keeping the proposed scheduledFor A "Pending approval" filter in the posts list Optionally, an email/push notification when posts are waiting for review Why: the approver should be able to review from the phone without needing an API key or a script. It also keeps a clean separation: the agent's key creates proposals, only the human approves.
Native Facebook comment and like automation for own posts
We need a native Zernio workflow for comments and likes on our own Facebook posts. It should automatically like comments and post configurable replies with limits, delays, and duplicate prevention, without relying on external platforms.
YouTube: custom thumbnails for Shorts
Since July 2026, YouTube lets Partner Program channels set custom thumbnails on Shorts. Today Zernio skips the thumbnail on Shorts ("Custom thumbnails work on videos only, not Shorts"), so we have to set every Short's cover by hand in YouTube Studio after it publishes. Request: when a Short has a thumbnail on its video media item, set it once the Short finishes processing (for example with thumbnails.set). If YouTube rejects it, skip it as you already do for regular videos on unverified channels, and publish the Short anyway. Use case: a newsroom publishing several Shorts a day from a planning tool. The cover is part of the brand design and is prepared before the Short is scheduled.
Whats App Unanswered Badge
Most everything else would have a badge on the Pinned Icon showing the number of Unanswered questions in our Inbox. Apparently, this isn't available yet. I think this is essential to show; could you please add it urgently?
Title: Blogs API: categories for Wix (and WordPress)
Hi Zernio team, We're starting to use the new Blogs API to publish to our customers' Wix sites. We publish two kinds of content there: regular blog posts and knowledge-base articles. Wix gives each site a single blog, so both end up mixed together in one feed. We'd like to keep the knowledge-base articles in their own Wix Blog category, so they get their own overview page on the site. Right now the Blogs API has no way to set a category. Could you add: 1. A `categories` field on create and update article (POST/PATCH /v1/accounts/{accountId}/blogs/{blogId}/articles), taking category names. It would work the same way `tags` already does: existing names are matched case-insensitively and missing categories are created on the site. 2. `categories` in the article response (get and list), so we can read back what was assigned. 3. Optionally, GET /v1/accounts/{accountId}/blogs/{blogId}/categories to list the categories that already exist on the site. As far as we can tell, Wix's own Blog API already supports this through `categoryIds` on draft posts. WordPress has categories too, so the same field there would keep the API consistent across platforms. Wix is our priority, though. Thanks! You've delivered on our earlier requests really quickly, and that's much appreciated.
Include Meta lead form consent checkbox answers (custom_disclaimer_responses) in lead.received and lead endpoints
Meta lead forms with custom disclaimer consent checkboxes (e.g. call_consent required, sms_rcs_consent optional) lose those answers in Zernio: they're missing from the lead.received webhook lead.fields and from GET /v1/ads/lead-forms/{formId}/leads and /v1/ads/leads. Please include them, e.g. lead.fields.call_consent / lead.fields.sms_rcs_consent or a lead.consents array. We need them to route TCPA call/SMS consent correctly into our CRM.
Support LinkedIn company page reposts (one-click reshares) in analytics and sync-external
We sync our LinkedIn company page (EGS) through GET /v1/analytics and POST /v1/posts/sync-external to show its posts on our website. Posts authored by the page come through fine, but posts the page reshares with one click (reposts without commentary) never appear: not in the initial backfill and not in the live sync. Support confirmed the current LinkedIn permissions only return posts authored by the page. It would be great if Zernio could expose page reposts, for example as items with isRepost: true plus the original post URN, author name and permalink, or through a page activity endpoint, if LinkedIn grants a permission that allows it (e.g. via the Community Management API). Today we work around it by pasting each reposted post URL manually. Apologies for the duplicate: an AI assistant acting on my behalf also filed this through the API feedback endpoint (feedback ID 6ada783f2281fb8cf09cdc3a) after support had already answered me by email. Please disregard that submission and treat this post as the single request.
Quote reply (replyTo) support for Facebook Messenger in the Inbox API
Problem: The replyTo field on POST /v1/inbox/conversations/{conversationId}/messages works for WhatsApp, Telegram and Slack, but on Facebook Messenger it is removed before sending. The message goes out with no quote and the response returns an ignored_field warning for replyTo. Request: Support replyTo on Facebook Messenger so we can reply to a specific customer message with a native quote. Meta's Messenger Send API supports this through reply_to.mid, so the platform message ID we already receive in the message.received webhook could be forwarded. Why it matters: Customers often send several questions in a row. Without native quotes, our answers can be matched to the wrong question, which causes confusion and slower support. For businesses that handle customer conversations through Messenger, this is a key feature. The current workaround (adding a text snippet of the original question to the reply) works, but it is not as clear or as clean as a native quote. Nice to have: The same support for Instagram DMs, if Meta allows it. Thanks for logging this, Ana and team!
locale-support request
Thank you for the reply and for logging locale support. We re-tested on the boosterengine account: Works: dimension=interest (e.g. "fitness", "jewelry"), workPosition, workEmployer, geo, and targeting/browse with adAccountId returns the tree. Doesn't work: dimension=behavior returns an empty list for every query: "travel", "shop", "buyers", "expats", "engaged shoppers". If the Meta behaviour catalogue is filtered by substring on your side, "travel" and "shop" should find results. We'll wait for your colleague's fix. English queries are sometimes empty too: "dental implants" and "orthodontics" returned 0 (while "dentistry" found Dental school and Medical school). So it is not only about locale: it looks like only close name matches are returned. Do you match by prefix or by substring, and is a softer search possible? Category paths come back in Russian ("Интересы → Дополнительные интересы"). Is that the ad account's language? We would like English paths, or a language parameter.
replies inside 24h fail with (#10)
issue: on click-to-Messenger ad threads where the customer has sent exactly one message, replies inside 24h fail with (#10) subcode 2018278 "outside of allowed window", while a reply from Meta Business Suite on the same thread goes through. Can you check this with Meta? We can send fbtrace ids.
Messenger user id (the page-scoped user id). We Need to forward it to Meta
Meta conversions adapter (POST /v1/ads/conversions) already sends messaging_channel at the event root when the action source is business_messaging. It supports whatsapp, messenger and instagram_direct, and for Messenger/Instagram it puts the page_id in user_data. The part that's missing is the Messenger user id (the page-scoped user id). We don't forward it to Meta right now, so there's no way to pass it through us today.
Add Austria for SMS
We would love to have the ability to buy SMS phone numbers from Austria (AT) please.
Pinterest video Pins: wait longer for processing (or check in the background)
Pinterest video Pins fail with "video processing timeout after 60s" when Pinterest is slow, even for normal files (15 s, 1080x1920, H.264, 12.5 MB). Support confirmed the file was fine and Pinterest was still processing. Please let the processing check run longer, or keep checking in the background and create the Pin once Pinterest finishes, instead of failing the post. We post to several Pinterest accounts daily and lose Pins to this.
Meta interests
Hi , We're using Zernio to integrate Meta Ads into our SaaS platform, Karma Posting. Campaign creation, interest search, and audience reach estimation are already working well. We'd like to request support for Meta Ads Interest Suggestions in your API. Meta Marketing API provides a targeting search method: GET /search?type=adinterestsuggestion&interest_list=["Interest Name"] It returns related interests based on existing targeting categories, helping us discover relevant audiences beyond standard keyword searches. Currently, Zernio's targeting search rejects adinterestsuggestion with a 400 response, and there doesn't appear to be an equivalent endpoint. Ideally, we'd like an endpoint that: Accepts one or multiple existing Meta interests (names or IDs). Returns related interests with their Meta IDs and names. Works through the existing Zernio authentication and connected Meta Ads accounts. Supports the same account permissions and API access model as your current targeting endpoints. This would significantly improve AI-powered audience discovery without requiring customers to connect their Meta accounts through a separate integration. Could you let us know whether this functionality could be added, and if so, whether you have an estimated timeline? Thanks! Karma Posting Team https://karmaposting.com
TikTok: return the video file and all carousel slides for external posts
For TikTok accounts (Business app lane), mediaItems on external posts currently carries only a thumbnail for videos and only the cover image for photo carousels (e.g. one image for a post that has 7 slides). We analyse a creator's own posts with an AI model (what the video shows and says, the text on each slide) so we can understand the comments under them. For that we need the actual media: Videos: a downloadable URL to the video file (even a short-lived signed URL is fine; we download it right away and do not store or re-host it). Photo carousels: the URL of every slide, in order (and ideally the background music track). Today we have to use a third-party scraper for this on TikTok, while on Instagram Zernio's mediaItems already give us downloadable video files and every carousel slide. Having the same on TikTok would let us use Zernio as the single source for all platforms.
LinkedIn Conversation and Leadgen Endpoint
Add endpoints for reading and replying to conversations on LinkedIn. It would also be great to have an endpoint for collecting data on individuals and companies via direct links, searches, groups, and post engagement.
YouTube: set the video language on upload
Please let a YouTube post send defaultLanguage and defaultAudioLanguage, or set a default language per channel. We publish videos in Spanish and French, and today we set each video’s language by hand in YouTube Studio.
Clearer usage in dashboard
So, currently we have $12 free credits for two accounts, while as per conversation with support, the usage is being calculated by day. I think it will be much clearer to see the usage per day, even if usage is being counted for the free $12. It will be much easier and clearer to plan the spendings and usage. Thanks!
