This already works, and has since 30 July. Set facebookSettings.textFormatPresetId to a Facebook preset id (a numeric string) on a Facebook target and the post publishes with that coloured background.
The constraints Facebook imposes are enforced before we call them, so you get a clear error rather than a silently plain post: Pages only, feed only (not story or reel), no images or video, and the text cannot be empty. Long text is allowed through with a warning rather than rejected, because Facebook's character cap is a composer behaviour with no documented API limit and we would rather publish than block you. Note that a background can be changed but never removed once the post is live, which is Facebook's rule, not ours.
One caveat worth knowing: Facebook publishes no list of valid preset ids, so we accept whatever id you send and surface their rejection if it is not valid for your Page.
