Add country and region breakdowns to GET /v1/analytics/linkedin/demographics
Hi,
We use GET /v1/analytics/linkedin/demographics to show our customers who follows their LinkedIn Page. The function, seniority, industry and company_size breakdowns work well for us. One thing our customers keep asking for is where those followers are located, and the endpoint doesn't return that today.
LinkedIn already provides this data in the same call your endpoint seems to use. organizationalEntityFollowerStatistics returns followerCountsByGeoCountry (by country) and followerCountsByGeo (by region or market area). Both need the same r_organization_followers scope the endpoint already requires.
Request:
Add country and region to the accepted values of the metrics parameter.
Return them in the same shape as the other breakdowns, sorted by value, largest first.
Resolve dimension to a readable name, the way you already do for function and industry, and keep the URN in id. If a name can't be resolved, returning the URN in dimension (as you do today) is fine.
The same notes as the current breakdowns would apply: top 100 values, followers without a location left out, and organic plus paid counts.
Thanks!
